National Malaya & Borneo Veterans Association
Never Forgotten
Veterans of the 1962–66 Borneo confrontation return to Kuching to remember.
Watch the film · 3:14The brief
Capture the 2023 Malaya & Borneo Veterans Day at the Sarawak Heroes Memorial Park in Kuching, the first gathering since the pandemic.
Our approach
Many faces, few words, each full of stories. We filmed the veterans and their families with restraint, guided by one question: why would someone come to a foreign land and protect it with their life?
